To preserve the well-being of its participants, the organizers of the "MCB by beauté sélection" announced the cancellation of the 2020 edition of the "Mondial Coiffure beauté", the largest professional trade show for the beauty and hairdressing industry in France, in parallel with the launch of a digital edition.
The MCB by Beauté Sélection is the "showcase" for key players in the global hairdressing market, both national and international, who wish to present their innovations and new products.
Originally, the three-day international trade fair is scheduled to take place from 12 to 14 September 2020 at the Paris Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre. As always, shows, conferences and several hundred exhibitors were on the programme of this Mondial Coiffure.
The decision to cancel the MBC by beauté sélection is based on the fact that social distancing has been shown to be the only effective response to slow the contagion curve of VIDOC-19.
With more than 50,000 participants and about 280 exhibitors in the same building, it would be almost impossible to maintain a physical distance between us and the others.
The General Manager of Standing Events also stated that to date, no government directives have been given to the organizers of salons such as the Mondial Coiffure.
In addition, countries around the world introduced strict travel restrictions shortly after WHO declared the new coronavirus epidemic a pandemic on 11 March 2020. This makes it a major challenge for international exhibitors and visitors to participate in the exhibition. A large proportion of exhibitors and a significant proportion of visitors come from abroad.
In the face of so many uncertainties, it is with sadness that the Mondial Beauté Coiffure 2020 sees its programme cancelled, to be held in 2021.
Launched in the mid-2000s, the Mondial Coiffure Beauté has become a leading showcase for the latest trends in the beauty industry, consolidating its position as a must-attend event for the beauty and hairdressing industries.
MCB by Beauté Sélection offers you a unique encounter dedicated to the world of beauty. It isa singular, unique and professional event dedicated to beauty: hairstyling and beauty, aesthetics, make-up and nails.
The event also brings together French and international professionals who give their opinion on hair and make-up. MCB by Beauté Sélection offers must-see events to present the new challenges of the profession and innovative practices.
