Use of personal data

Am I affected?
If you have given your beauty salon using the Wavy checkout application, or Wavy directly, personal data about yourself, you are affected by the processing listed in this section and have all the rights attached to it. If you use the online booking and transparent payment services, you are also concerned by this processing.

What data do we collect?
Wavy collects the data that you entrust to your beauty establishment when creating your customer account or to Wavy when making an appointment online: surname, first names, date of birth, age range, gender, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, profile photos. If you use the transparent payment function, the data of your payment method is also collected. Wavy only collects data that you voluntarily provide.

What do we do with this data?
Your data is used for statistical purposes, to create your customer account, to identify you each time you visit your beauty salon, to make online appointments, to pay for your bookings and to communicate with your hair salon, beauty salon or spa. Your contact details are also used to send you promotional or commercial offers. In order to refine the choice of offers sent to you and to avoid you being overwhelmed by unwanted emails, we automatically process your data so that we only send you messages that are likely to interest you.

Where is your data stored?
This data is stored with our partners in the European Union and the United States. Any transfer of data outside the European Union is carried out in accordance with the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission by decision 2010/87/EU of 5 February 2010, which ensure a high level of security for your data. Under no circumstances will our partners storing your data be able to access it or use it in any way.

How long is this data kept?
If it is not renewed, your data will be completely deleted within 16 years of your last visit to an establishment using the Wavy application, unless you request that it be deleted before the end of this period. Your data relating to your means of payment is kept by our service provider in a secure manner for a period that cannot exceed 7 years.

Can I object to this processing?
Wavy is committed to respecting the privacy of everyone and offers you the possibility of objecting to the processing of all or part of this data, or even to object to any storage of it. You will find at the bottom of the page the methods for exercising this right.
