How to manage the roles of his Facebook page?

You've created a Facebook page, but you'd rather have your collaborator or your children take care of it? Assign it to the page so they can post directly from their Facebook account!

The communication of your hairdressing salon or beauty institute takes time and should not be neglected. If you don't have the time or you don't know how to optimize the image of your salon on your Facebook page, we advise you to ask someone close to you to take care of your image on the platform. Facebook is a real way to make your salon known and delegating this task to one of your collaborators has 2 advantages :

  • You're freeing up time
  • You allow your employee to vary his tasks and give him more responsibilities: a real plus from a managerial point of view!

Nevertheless, if you want to improve your skills on your social networks, you can read our article on the social networks to choose for your hair salon or beauty salon.

How do I add one of my collaborators to the management of the Facebook page?

Now that you've decided to let a collaborator take part in the management of social networks, you need to give them access.

Instead of giving them access to your personal Facebook account, you can add their account to the Facebook Page Managers. This will allow them to manage the Page directly from their personal account.

Follow these steps:

1/ Go to the home page of your Facebook page, and click on "Settings".

Click on Settings

2/ Then you will arrive on this menu, click on "Page Roles".

Click on page role

3/ Go to "Assign a new role on the Page".

Find the box "assign a new role on the page".

4/ Add your collaborator's Facebook profile then click on "Editor".

A drop-down menu will appear with different possible roles for your employee. Click on each of the roles, the grey text below will inform you of the access given by each role and choose the most suitable one.

Choose the most suitable status for your employee

5/ Click on "Add"! Now your collaborator can help you in the management of your Facebook page.

How do I delete or change my collaborator's role on my Facebook page?

If your employee subsequently leaves your living room or you want to limit this access, follow steps 1 to 3.

Then scroll down to "Existing Roles on Page" and click on the collaborator you want to modify. You can now change his role or completely remove his access to the page management. Don't forget to register!
