Rodolphe & Co is a professional hairdressing brand whose products are mostly Ecocert* and Cosmebio** certified.
The brand was founded by Rodolphe Diotel, a hairdresser and colourist who stands out for his exceptional knowledge and his desire to develop a safe, fair and most natural product possible.
With products made in France, in respect of the environment, the brand offers organic hair products, without phenoxyethanol, parabens, silicones and artificial colourings.
Rodolphe & Co products are all vegan. This means that no animal ingredients are used, with the exception of ingredients made by the animal itself (honey for example).
The mother-of-pearl part of Rodolphe & co products is extracted from the mother-of-pearl by a biotechnological process certified by Ecocert. The mother-of-pearl is harvested from shells found on the beach in Brittany.
Finally, none of the perfumes used are synthetic, but natural. Indeed, the products use flower elixirs and essential oils: a mixture of different plants or fruits to create a unique fragrance.
This natural composition is naturally found in professional hair colours.
Rodolphe & Co mineral hair colours are 97% natural. They take care of the planet, the hair and the skin.
But that doesn't mean that quality has been put aside. On the contrary, with 100% coverage of white hair, Rodolphe & Co hair colour is very effective.
The formula is based on pure natural extracts of mother-of-pearl and castor oil. It does not contain ammonia or its derivatives, such as ethanolamine (odourless ammonia).
Green tea and clay extracts are added to castor oil, macadamia oil and mother-of-pearl extracts from Brittany, ensuring soft and shiny hair.
Organic and natural ingredients enhance the performance of ammonia-free dyes and ensure a long shelf life.
Thanks to its gentle and healthy formula, even people who do not tolerate hair colour due to a sensitive scalp now have a range of professional colours, without ammonia and its derivatives, and therefore without bad smell and with a very good result!
Rodolphe&Co's Mineral Whitener powder is an ammonia and sodium persulphate free lightening powder for use by hairdressers and colourists only. It can be used to create the Mineral Whitening or Clay Sweep by Rodolphe&Co.
It should be noted that the mineral colour is often used as a patina in addition to the balayage, in order to obtain the specific reflection desired.

* ECOCERT is an environmental label. The label indicates products whose ingredients are organically produced. The ingredients used in cosmetics must be at least 95% of natural origin. At least 5% of the ingredients must come from organic farming. Only a limited number of additives and raw materials may be used in production. Nano-materials (any material with a nano-scale structure) are prohibited. The label applies strict standards for the biodegradability of products. There are also criteria that limit the amount of packaging per dose and a ban on certain packaging materials.
ECOCERT requires producers to develop a sustainability plan with particular attention to water and energy consumption and waste management. The use of harmful substances and production processes is strictly forbidden.
** COSMEBIO is an international label for organic cosmetics and was founded in 2002 in France. The label guarantees that production is environmentally friendly and that a part of the ingredients are organically produced.
